Have you ever wished you could have a conversation with your search engine? Well, now you can with Bing Chat, a new feature that lets you chat with an AI-powered assistant that can answer your questions, generate creative content, and even change its tone according to your preference.

Bing Chat is based on an advanced large language model (LLM) developed by OpenAI, which means it can understand natural language and generate fluent responses. A key feature of Bing Chat is that it can search the web and incorporate the results into its answers, making it more informative and helpful than a typical chatbot.

Bing Chat also has some unique features that make it more engaging and fun to use. For example, you can toggle the tone of chat from “Precise”, which focuses on shorter, more factual responses; “Balanced”, which adds some personality and humor or “Creative”, which generates more original and imaginative responses. You can also ask Bing Chat to write poems, stories, jokes, songs, code, essays, and more.

Another feature of Bing Chat is that it shows turn counters to track if you’re near your chat cap for a particular session. This is because Bing Chat has a limit of 50 chat turns per day, which is designed to improve the quality of the chat experience and prevent abuse. If you reach your limit, you can still use Bing as a regular search engine until the next day.

Bing Chat also works well with Microsoft Edge browser. If you use Edge, you can access Bing Chat from any web page by clicking on the chat icon in the address bar. This will open a sidebar where you can chat with Bing about the page context. For example, if you’re reading an article about nuclear fusion experiments in South Korea, you can ask Bing Chat for more details or related topics.

This New Bing Chat is a step up from the usual AI that many firms have been promising the users since ages. Seems like we have actually entered a new era in Artificial Intelligence and human-computer interactions.

And now coming to the worry of most people out there, Will I lose my job to the AI? The answer is not that simple, AI can surely automate and increase the efficiency in average repetitive jobs but it replacing the jobs involving creativity, should be a worry of tomorrow. One think that can be said for sure is that people who take advantage of this AI, can make many things happen.

Bing Chat is currently in preview mode and available only in English. You can try it out by visiting bing.com/chat or by using Edge browser. We hope you enjoy this new way to search and chat with AI!

And for those who read the post till the end, this post was blog was written with help from the Bing AI. :)
